Screenplays came back in film class today. Got a B+ on my screenplay based off an old short story, which I was rather pleasantly surprised by. First off: The University of Canterbury Students' Association is holding a raffle to cover Chris' rent so that his flatmates and other people close to him can stay together while they grieve without the added stress of covering his rent. mad_as_soup's birthday picnic in the Bot Gardens today. Near us this small group of people (a family?) was putting a tuba, a trumpet, and some other small brass instrument we couldn't see from our picnic spot in amongst the flowerbed and taking photos. It was very surreal.

Films to see this summer:- The Social Network: Latest to the bandwagon. I knew I should have seen it in Florida.
- Easy A: One more "why didn't I see this in Florida" film (actually why am I even surprised, it took me months to see Inception).
